London Live Industry Awards EvcomThe EVCOM London Live Awards takes place annually each November, bringing the best of corporate film and live events together to celebrate excellence across our industry.

The EVCOM London Live Awards showcases outstanding achievement in the design and execution of live events and experiences by agencies and freelancers internationally. We look to reward the most progressive and creative agencies and creatives working in the professional discipline today.

Shortlisted finalists and their guests are invited to attend the EVCOM London Film Awards ceremony in November, where the winners are announced and their films screened for everyone to enjoy. 

Entry Costs

Freelancer: £100 (+VAT)

Member: £175 (+VAT)

Non-Member: £255 (+VAT)

Early bird freelancer: £80 (+VAT)

Early bird member: £150 (+VAT)

Early bird non-member: £200 (+VAT)

Early bird rates will be available from 23rd May – 30th May so do make the most of them!

CATEGORIES

Every year we celebrate the best of the best across a whole range of categories that measure creativity, effectiveness and impact. You can find the 2023 categories below.

All categories are open to in person and hybrid events. There is also a dedicated category for virtual events.

Event by Delivery Mechanism

Best Conference

Most creative and effective design and delivery of a conference. Judges will be looking to see how you delivered on the event objectives, the overall design of the conference, the ways you engaged with the audience and how you measured the success of the conference.

Best Awards Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of an awards ceremony or awards event. Judges will be looking at the overall approach of the event, how you engaged with the audience, the approach to recognising finalists / winners, the overall impact of the event and the results of any measurement that took place.

Best B2E (Business to Employee) Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of an internal event. This could include a training event, an incentive event, AGM’s, CSR campaigns, internal conferences and celebratory events. Entries should clearly show the event objectives and measurement on how they were achieved.

Best B2C (Business to Consumer) Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of a consumer facing event. This could include a product launch, a brand experience and/or an exhibition. Entries should clearly show the event objectives and measurement on how they were achieved.

Best Virtual Event

Most creative and effective design and delivery of a virtual event. Judges will be looking at your overall approach, the tools you utilised, how you engaged with the audience, and its overall success based on any measurement and data you can provide.

Best Brand Communication Event

Most engaging and relevant brand messaging and communication to an internal or external audience through an event. Judges want to see how you met the brief and event objectives, what in your eyes makes this a stand-out event as well as evidence of what it did for the brand and how you measured its success.

Event Design and Execution

Best Use of Content

In recognition of content and materials that support your event, either in the campaign around your event and/or onsite. Judges want to hear why you think it was special, share why you approached the content in a certain way, talk about the different techniques you used. Seeing is believing so where you can please include photos and examples of the content.

Creativity

In recognition of creativity in event design and delivery, from truly creative concepts to innovative solutions.

Best Execution

An award that recognises world class delivery. Judges want to see how you approach the delivery of the event, the problems you overcame, the overall approach you took clearly demonstrating how this had a positive impact on things like the overall experience, delivery team, client, audience etc

Best Engagement

In recognition of effective and creative audience engagement leading up to, during and following an event. We want to hear about engagement within the event itself, how longer-term engagement with this audience has been considered in the campaign that surrounds the event. You should be able to demonstrate the benefits it had and how it contributed to delivering on the overall event objectives

Best Use of Production and Technology

Best use of production (sound, music, sets, special effects and lighting) and technology/ digital to make an event stand out. What did you do that was special, how did you execute the solution what difference did it make to the overall audience experience.

Best Agency and Client Collaboration

This award recognises an event that relied upon collaboration between a client and an agency for its success. We want to hear about what both brought to the table and how you worked together to create something brilliant.

 

Rising Star Agency

In recognition of a younger agency who has shone this year. We want to hear about your company policies around DEI and sustainability. We want to hear about your growth, financially and as a team. We want to hear about whether you’ve broken new ground or been recognised for anything you’ve done this year. We want to hear about what your team and clients think of you.

This category is open to agencies who are less than 10 years old.

This category is free to enter.

 

Agency of the Year

In recognition of an established agency who has excelled this year. We want to hear about your company policies around DEI and sustainability. We want to hear about your growth, financially and as a team. We want to hear about whether you’ve broken new ground or been recognised for anything you’ve done this year. We want to hear about what your team and clients think of you.

This category is free to enter.

 

Grand Prix

In recognition of the overall most impressive entry to the EVCOM London Live Awards. From all submitted entries, judges will choose one that stood out above and beyond for this prestigious award.

All entries will be automatically entered into this category at no extra charge.
