EVCOM Industry Awards 2019

2019 saw the return of the EVCOM Industry Awards – the only awards platform that recognises excellence in both craft and communications across the live, screen and digital communities.

With a fresh new format, the awards platform promised to be a true celebration of our members and their best creative work. Building on the success of the 2018 awards, we looked entries from the live and screen sectors of our membership, with a particular emphasis on international working.

With client led judging panels and a rigorous selection process, the entry platform remained open throughout the spring and early summer to allow an extended showcase opportunity for you. Projects and events published/ delivered between the 15th June 2018 and the 10th June 2019, were eligible for entry.

On the 5th September 2019 we celebrated the EVCOM Clarion Awards, at the Design Museum.

With a renewed focus on the importance of corporate social responsibility across both the agency and client landscape, this awards scheme recognised excellence across a range of well-defined activations and interventions. The Clarions sought out excellence in film in the support of game-changing CSR and educational initiatives. With an emphasis on showcasing best practice in screenlive event and supporting digital in this cause-related arena, the awards called for the most innovative content across precisely defined categories of best practice and professional excellence.

Shortlisted finalists came together for an exclusive ceremony, which featured a screening of the winning entries followed by a networking drinks reception. Congratulations to the winners of the EVCOM Clarion Awards 2019. You can read the full list here!

The EVCOM London Live and Film Awards took place at the BFI, Southbank on the 21st November.

With an emphasis on showcasing British-made corporate film to an international audience, and outstanding achievement in the design and execution of live events and experiences, the awards again called for the most creative and progressive work being created by agencies and individuals today.

Across two plush screening rooms, the EVCOM London Live and Film Awards ceremonies ran concurrently. The winners were announced and their films screened. The guests than came together for a red-carpet style party with a view of the river. The Events R Talented final happened live and exclusive to a captive audience, raising money for Meeting Needs, followed by entertainment provided by the wonderful Young Guns DJ Collective
